Staff think they are not there for customer service. In particular staff member Debbie who is rude and obnoxious. Eg I asked if the loud speaker music, in the gaming room, could be decreased. Male staff member obliged and the atmosphere was improved. Then Debbie walks in and increases volume to the previous level. This is not the only time I have personally received unsatisfactory customer service from Debbie. Again I feel she needs additional training in customer service. Though as she was been employed in the SAME position for several years, I have reasonable expectations that this staff members behaviour and her level of customer service would ever improve. To such an extent I am always surprised that she has continued her employment.

I could not fault the service we recieved from restaurant staff. Sam was incredible. No cocktail menu was disappointing and your menu states that the barra comes with roast vegetables. What I recieved was a couple of pieces of plainly steamed veg. No roast veg at all. At $35 a serving I wouldn't recommend again. There was absolutely no engagement from the staff member in gaming towards patrons.

Unfortunately terrible. I don't like giving bad raps as we like to punt and eat at the Sands. We firmly believe the cook had a day off. All food was overcooked. Gluten Free hamburger roll was as hard as a ceramic plate. You couldn't break it with the back of a knife handle. The schnitzel was well done and like rubber. When asked by both the bar staff member and manager, we provided our feedback expecting a replacement meal at least for the GF burger. I was so disappointed for my GF wife. The manager tapped the back of the bun, it went a loud bang, she said it was no good and that she would provide feedback to the chef. No replacement. That was it. Honestly. We left for elsewhere. We just had to provide negative feedback. Thank you for your response admin@ausveueco. Date was Sunday 19 March for lunch.

Dined here for Christmas Lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Buffet spread had lots of tasty options, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Came in for a calamari, it was perfect and fulfilled my cravings. The young lady working bistro was exceptional and her service was lovely. Thanks Sands team, will be coming back :)

My partner and I had dinner at The Sands Tavern for the first time early 2018 and have been back many times since. This is so much more than a pub meal. The food is absolutely AMAZING! Not once have we been there and had any complaints. The staff have always been friendly, the food has always been delicious and the service is unbeatable. If you are worried about the price, dont be. Combine that with the pleasant atmosphere and you are in for a real treat. P.s you Cannot go past the garlic bread, you won't regret it.

There was a mishap with my food order but staff did everything they could to make it right, refunded meal free drinks went out of their way to make our experience good. Mistakes happen but the way you respond is what's important 100% will be back service is incredible

We came for the $15 Monday night steaks, which were good. My son had the hotdog, which he felt had too much sauce, and the calamari which was delicious. My daughter had the burger, which she liked but found the soft bun disintegrated and there was too much sauce. Chips, service, and price were all good. 4/5
